If you come to Vilnius, there is a bus No. 1 and No. 2 from Vilnius airport to Vilnius bus/railway station.
Also a special scheduled train runs from Vilnius airport to Vilnius railway station. Then you can take a bus or train to come to Kaunas.

Travelling by train

Also, you can reach Kaunas from Vilnius using the train as well. Railway stations and tickets booths are open for 24 hours. All tickets can be purchased in the main halls. The agents stop selling tickets five minutes before the departure of the train.

If you want to come by car, you must have these documents: valid driving license; vehicle registration document; insurance.
